Your internship begins with an MSCI Orientation which gives you a perfect foundation for the weeks ahead as you learn about our culture, values, and business model.

Your learning continues 'on-the-desk' as you work through live projects and gain first-hand experience of how all teams at MSCI play a role in creating solutions for our clients.

You will have a network of talented and approachable colleagues who will support you through every stage of the program.


Your key responsibilities

  • Quality assurance of equity market data
  • Monitor workflow processes and resolve issues with urgency as they arise
  • Identify, investigate and resolve data discrepancies and ensure they do not recur
  • Variance analysis of data attributes with various vendor sources
  • Research corporate events and assets as it pertains to MSCI methodology
  • Update and conduct extensive quality assurance to our financial database.
  • Work in partnership with local and global teams to enhance and improve client experience.

Specific knowledge and skills

  • Excellent English verbal and written (additional language skills a plus)
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other programming languages is a plus

Aiming to graduate in Summer 2024

Desired qualifications
Pursuing bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Statistics or equivalent
