The Job:
Epicor is currently seeking a GL Accountant with solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with all departments; good problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve discrepancies. Strong work ethic to meet strict deadlines via good time management skills. Adaptable and flexible to an ever-changing environment.
What you will be doing:
Understand and apply both US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting policies and procedures. Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions. Prepare monthly standard and non-standard journal entries - analyze account information. Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve variances. Review, recommend, and implement best practices regarding accounting policies and procedures. Participate in special projects and creation of ad hoc reportsWhat You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 1 year of accounting experience Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel Forward thinking mindset with the ability to resolve problems and create efficiencies. Ability to prioritize as needed to meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency Hands-on experience with ERP system is a plus Effective English verbal and written communication skillsThe Finance Team
