Data Analyst
Zeeto is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Data Analytics Team. The Data Analytics Team is a data-driven, creative group responsible supporting the entire internal company.

This Data Analyst will work on many different projects at Zeeto but will spend a large portion of their time creating complex queries in Snowflake to help derive insight from our data.

They will query, clean, check, organize and analyze data on a daily basis to aid optimization efforts and assist in making critical revenue-driving decisions.

This position will also spend a lot of time working in Looker creating, maintaining and utilizing reports that help drive our decision making.

The Data Analytics team will work closely with many departments and will need to have a well-rounded knowledge of how the company operates in order to succeed.

Location:
Fully Remote Position in Mexico. We are based out of the Pacific Standard Timezone (PST) operating both in the United States and Latin America.

We are open to anywhere in the world as long as you can collaborate with the team in that timezone.

For this role we are open to different experience levels from Jr to Mid level. We know it's cliche but we expect the salary requirements to match the experience level.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Query, organize data using Snowflake to help solve open issues and/or optimize product performance
  • Assist in finding optimization opportunities within our data. You'll help us make decisions that will directly influence the company's revenue stream.
  • Understand the entire database system and be able to quickly identify where and how to pull data for any specific issue.
  • Create useful reports that will help other departments to increase performance.
  • Create, maintain and utilize explores, reports and dashboards in Looker
  • Understand how each department works and/or generates revenue for the company.
  • Assist in monitoring company metrics and finding new ways to improve these metrics

Qualifications

  • 13 years of professional experience in data analytics in fastpaced environment
  • Experience in Snowflake is strongly preferred. Applicants with strong SQL knowledge will be considered too. This is the most important skill. This person will be querying data in Snowflake on a frequent basis so they must be comfortable using joins, subqueries, functions, etc.
  • Ability to recognize patterns in data including: trending, normal and/or abnormal
  • Experience working with Looker or other analytics and dashboard/visualization solutions. \
  • LookML experience is a plus.
  • Excel skills must be intermediate. Advanced is a plus.
  • Will need to be energetic, communicative and always willing to speak up. You'll be working with employees at all levels and from all departments.
  • Strong attention to detail. You'll be working with data that helps us make decisions so accuracy is key.
  • Curiosity to learn about a complex business and a passion for finding problems and solving puzzles. This position will need to develop a wellrounded understanding of the company and how our business operates.
  • Nice to have: digital marketing industry experience/knowledge
