  • 2+ years of experience in compliance functions

Technical knowledge

English level

  • Bilingual/native proficiency in Spanish & English (Brazillian Portuguese is a plus)

Main Responsabilities

Due Diligence

  • 1. Work with the business team to assure that appropriate due diligence on third party management is in place and include requisite compliance language.
  • 2. Review internal requests for new/renewal thirdparty intermediaries and ensure all requests are completed in compliance with CPSW8E program requirements including thirdparty questionnaire collection, risk ranking, due diligence report, issue identification and risk mitigation.
  • 4. Conduct the onsite inspection (and photographs) for high risk thirdparty and check the registered & operating addresses, onsite interview with key personnel and generate the assessment report.
  • 5. Batch screening of big data and review on thirdparty intermediaries, key personnel and ensure no adverse hit was found.
  • 6. Escalate red flags during the due diligence process and assist in case investigation, take the corresponding actions based on the DRC decision.
  • 7. Documentation on the thirdparty due diligence package

Carrier Compliance Software Management

  • 1. Maintain the workflow within the Securimate system to ensure that requests on thirdparty due diligence are followed through on a timely basis.
  • 2. Maintain the integrity of the Securimate database and documentation of all due diligence performed within Securimate.
  • 3. Generate periodic reports and maintain management dashboards on thirdparty compliance status.
  • 4. Stays abreast of best practices for thirdparty compliance and usage of the Securimate platform, and work to continuously improve the procedures and systems.

In-term Monitoring

  • 1. Ensure no materially adverse information about thirdparty/principals by annual internet search/refresh report of thirdparty, known affiliates, and its principals/key personnel within Securimate or external due diligence vendors.
  • 2. Work with business team to ensure that sponsor and thirdparty based on the risk ranking complete the annual certification within Securimate on a timely basis.
  • 3. Work with business team to ensure the thirdparty based on the risk ranking complete the annual training within Securimate on a timely basis.
  • 4. Set the annual onsite review plan and conduct the onsite evaluation (including training) of the third party to ensure better understanding of compliance culture and followup actions will be taken by business team.

Communication and training

  • 1. Support business and other functional by providing hands on training and documented work instructions on CPSW8E and in use of the Securimate system.
  • 2. Keep close communication with business leaders and set a monthly/quarterly meeting to update the progress on CPSW8E.
  • 3. Develop and design different forms of training materials to provide the guideline for the thirdparty to meet the standard of the company.
  • 4. Keep search on due diligence resources and manage activity of external due diligence service providers to continuously improve the quality.
  • 5. Best practices sharing with other regional TPOs and continuously improve the policy, procedure, tools, and skills.
