We have an excellent job opportunity available for the position of Controller, located at Apodaca Plant (Apodaca, Nuevo León, México).
As the Controller Plant, you will collaborate with operations and corporate teams to ensure the company meets its financial and operational goals. You will drive continuous improvements in processes and systems while upholding strong controls.
Your tasks will include:
- Annual Budget: Collaborate with Operations for Team Commitment.
- Monthly Forecast Review: Submitting HFM, balance sheet, and all Forecast reports.
- Weekly Operational Review: Analyze variance to Forecast, monthly assessment, and closure.
- Ensure compliance with financial audit procedures (SOX/FOA).
- Internal Control oversight in the Plant.
- Provide Shared Service support (Payroll / Accounts Payable).
- Lead initiatives to reduce operating expenses.
- Ensure proper functions segregation in the plant (Review functions and System access).
- Adhere to Lear Corporation's quality, environmental, and work standards policies and procedures.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance.
- 2+ years experience as a Financial Manager, Controller, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge in Tax and Labor Law, Sox, General Accounting, Hyperion, and QAD. Proficiency in financial assessments, risk identification, cost control, budget preparation, financial and tax compliance, cash flow projections, processes, and internal control management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Prior experience in Budgeting & Forecasting for a multinational organization.
- Demonstrated Analytical, Communication, and Organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate across various departments, product lines, and organizational levels.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Flexibility and willingness to work varied schedules, especially during month-end close processes.
