We are reimagining the financial infrastructure of Latin America - where SMBs financial needs are satisfied without ever having to go to a bank.

R2 enables platforms in Latin America to embed financial services that SMBs can then leverage (starting with revenue-based financing). We are a tight knit team coming from organizations such as Amazon, Google, Nubank, Uber, McKinsey & Co., Mercado Libre, Globant, and J.P. Morgan. We are backed by world-class investors such as Gradient Ventures (Google's AI-focused fund), General Catalyst, Y Combinator, Femsa Ventures, PayU, among others.

R2 is looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about solving Latin America's credit gap through embedded lending partnerships with the region's leading technology platforms. The Account Executive will take partners from demo to closing, drive R2's hypergrowth and will be a critical member of the Sales team.

Please note that we are only interviewing Colombia-based candidates for this role.

What you'll work on:

Run end-to-end sales process for potential partnerships, including demo, proposal, and contractAccompany partners during integration process until launching a partnership with R2Keep sales pipeline up to dateUpdate CRM with updates on current dealsCoordinate with internal R2 teams (data, risk, engineering, finance) to understand potential in each partnership and develop economic proposalsReceive internal buy-in and prepare R2's teams to onboard new partnersGather feedback from potential partners and present it to Product teamDevelop a thorough understanding of how our product, platform and integration worksBuild R2's partnerships & sales culture

Who you are:

Track-record of top performance in enterprise sales roleExperience at a fintech companyExperience selling to tech companies and closing large deals ($1m+ contract values)Ability to communicate internally with engineering teams as well as with partners' engineering teamsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, startup environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsDriven for solving the credit gap for small & medium businesses in LatAmBased in Colombia

Bonus Points:

Experience working at a payments company or closely with payments companiesExperience at a high growth startup is preferredPrior experience working with B2B2C o B2B2C companies is a plus
