Position Overview:


The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing and maintaining processes, evaluating, proposing, and developing process improvements, and standardizing and documenting such improvements.

They will coordinate the engineering group to achieve key performance indicators such as yield, efficiency, productivity, and timely execution of improvement projects.

Additionally, they will contribute to other operational goals such as plan compliance, safety, turnover, inventory accuracy, scrap percentage, and customer delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 4 engineers, 1 intern, and 2 technicians, providing support for manufacturing operations throughout the facility.
  • Oversee 15 production lines, including the manufacturing of products such as keypads and spa controls.
  • Engage in process engineering to optimize production efficiency.
  • Implement preventive and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and track project progress.
  • Follow up on Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Mexican passport holder
  • Valid U.S. Visa desirable
  • Strong team player with a serviceoriented attitude towards their team and other departments. Must be capable of coaching junior team members.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, as daily collaboration with R&D engineers in Quebec, Canada, is required.
  • Green Belt certification is essential.
  • Desirable: Black Belt certification; Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
