This position is part of a growing team tasked with maintaining and supporting all aspects of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and applications. The Oracle Cloud Administrator will handle deployment administration, application registration, functional setups, and data management for configuration set migration. Additionally, they will provide technical guidance to team members and collaborate with implementation partners and business leadership to facilitate project teams in implementing and maintaining software solutions.

We seek a candidate with a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud infrastructure and integrated cloud, along with experience in SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS implementations. The ideal candidate should be a reliable team player who is enthusiastic, committed, creative, and customer-focused. Strong collaboration skills are essential for this role to navigate the varied technical and operational tasks in a constantly evolving environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain OCI users and resources for compute, storage, and networking.
  • Monitor OCI performance, availability, and security, addressing issues proactively.
  • Enforce governance policies to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Configure and manage OCI Compartments and Provisioning services.
  • Implement security best practices, including encryption and network security.
  • Integrate OCI with other systems to streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and Oracle on environment maintenance.
  • Participate in the development of new OCI features to enhance system functionality.
  • Act as the primary contact for Oracle support to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date OCI documentation and architecture diagrams.
  • Design and implement business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of Cloud Administration Experience.
  • 3+ years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure administration.
  • Experience in OCI and OIC services implementation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and architecture.
  • Proficiency in OCI administration tasks and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, and IT Change Control processes.
  • Ability to work with other functional leads and excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to mentor engineers with varying domains of expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Strong business acumen and client management experience.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Initiative to stay current on technology advancements.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills.
