Expertise on Electrical Vehicles

The main responsabilities are:

  • Assist Retailer Technicians with guided expert level diagnostics to ensure a prompt vehicle repair
  • Analyze, document, and report technical faults found on OEM products and diagnostic tools
  • When necessary, escalate appropriate problems or situations to resolve the concern timely
  • Assist the larger Retailer Technical Support Team
  • Evaluate support cases concerning customer complaints, prior warranty repairs, software status, etc.
  • Travel throughout the year as needed to support 'on site' at retailers as well as occasionally to Sweden
  • Perform special follow-ups, investigations and other requests to support the OEM organization
  • Looks for new and innovative solutions to problems and finds creative ways to produce results
  • Display a good understanding of the organization's mission, goals, and strategies in daily work
  • Investigate and resolve difficult repair situations by duplicating and testing during development days

Key Competencies/Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of diagnostic procedures, manufacturer specific special tools, and test equipment
  • Leadership skills are also a plus, such as a shop foreman or a team leader
  • Work independently to logically analyze a technical problem, identify the root cause and document the results
  • Effectively plan, coordinate and document daily scheduling of retailer visits, investigations and activities
  • Strong PC skills to perform daily work (i.e. Office products, computer hardware, additional software)
  • Strong communication skills to present technical information and persuade different audiences
  • Interact professionally representing the OEM brand with employees and customers in a OEM retailer
  • Push for continuous improvement, search for new and innovative solutions to technical problems
  • Vehicle fire and collision investigation knowledge/skills preferred
  • Ability to assess and identify actionable outcomes to improve support for our retailers
