  • Providing technical support in customer meetings / negotiations
  • Identifies solutions to the customer requirements based on the product portfolio.
  • Actively involved in all proposal phases, analyses customer requests and their technical feasibility as well as the possible realization during all proposal phases within the LOA process
  • Defines proposal strategy and basic project conditions in collaboration with Sales.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and purchasing departments for manufacturing information and capacity.
  • Providing input on transfer price calculation
  • Collaborate with US and European factories and engineering departments on product development and capacity

Your Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering A minimum of 510 years of experience with design and features of centrifugal & reciprocating compressors, gas generator, power turbines
  • Proficiency in making pitches to customer's technical specialists, to convince them of the Siemens compressor capabilities.
  • Traveling for meetings, trainings, site walkdowns and customer negotiation.
  • University Degree in: Eng Mechanical, Eng Industry or Eng Electrical
  • Professional Experience (510 years) in Compressor & Gas Turbines Marine platforms
  • Technical Knowledge Oil and Gas Process
  • English at professional working proficiency level.
  • Soft Skills Office Packages, Project, Cad or Visio

Your Responsibilities:

- . As Proposal Specialist you will be responsible for tender preparation, tender coordination, and tender tracking of complex turbo compressor projects for our international customers in the air separation industry, oil & gas, metallurgy, and chemicals.

  • Working with Regional Sales personnel to identify customer's project requirements related to Gas Turbine, Power Turbine and Package upgrades and overhauls and controls upgrades.
  • In addition, you will analyze customer requirements and translate them into a competitive offer with the involvement of an interdisciplinary team of engineers and businesspeople.
  • You check the technical feasibility of the machine concepts you develop and identify project risks or opportunities.
  • You settle costs and the associated delivery time for the scope of delivery you have planned.
  • You conduct project negotiations together with the sales team at home and abroad and represent your quotation to the customer as quotation project manager.
  • You will also be responsible for hand over the order to the project management and the engineering departments in charge.
  • Conceptual solution development, including project screening, to develop unique selling propositions for all opportunities the business proposes (can be in consultation with Sales Managas the need arisesired)
  • Support Sales Managers in negotiation and technical presentation of the proposed solution to the customers
  • Prepare technical LoA and align with LOA process for each firm offer/contract, including drafting of technical comments to client specs and gaining Product Manager approval.
  • Technical and cost responsibility of proposed equipment and services required.
  • Support Sales Managers in hand over of awarded projects to project management / engineering department
  • Keep track of technical developments of competition. Track and record what solutions are being offered in the regional market by competitors.
  • Must be selfmotivated, results oriented, and be flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fastpaced team environment.
  • Responsibility to comply and / or make sure the protocols, policies, guidelines, and proficiencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
