We are looking for DevOps Engineers who are enthusiastic about combining data with cutting-edge technologies to become part of our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in spearheading a significant revolution at Capital One.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Agile teams to create, test, deploy, and maintain technical solutions using a range of full-stack tools and technologies
- Demonstrate your enthusiasm for staying current with technology trends, exploring and mastering new technologies, engaging in internal and external tech communities, and guiding fellow engineering team members
- Work alongside digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that provide exceptional experiences to assist millions of individuals in achieving financial empowerment
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
Basic Qualifications:
- Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in English
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years of DevOps Engineering experience (Internship experience not accepted)
- At least 1 year of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Minimum of 1 year of Unix or Linux system administration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with Terraform or Ansible
- 1+ years of experience with container orchestration services such as Docker or Kubernetes
- 1+ years of coding and scripting experience (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby)
- 1+ years of Agile Development Practices experience
