HPC&AI Opex Lead

This role is designed as a 'Hybrid' position, with an expectation of working 2-3 days a week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

HPC&AI Opex Lead

Collaborates with businesses to ensure that capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically oriented to maximize returns on investments for the global company. Conducts financial analysis and reporting, influencing business decisions and driving inter-business initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees Flash and Quarter end close activities for Opex.
  • Supports Business Operations including hierarchy planning, program spend management, and accounting guidance.
  • Manages Budget coordination during the annual cycle.
  • Delivers intricate financial analysis for a financial function.
  • Consults business leaders to shape long-term and strategic decision-making.
  • Forecasts financial results on a broad scale.
  • Leads and advises on complex business initiatives.
  • Drives process enhancement and policy development initiatives with a global impact.
  • Represents the business unit in cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to analysts.
About you:
  • First-level university degree with a focus on business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) highly preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Solid OPEX experience
  • Outstanding analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Great teamwork skills.
  • Excellent business acumen.
