Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that a quality system is established, implemented, and maintained according to the IATF16949 standard.
  • Reports on the performance of the quality system to general management for review and as a basis for improvement.
  • Acts as a change agent within the site.
  • Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives.
  • Ensure the quality function is aligned to financial targets.
  • Guarantee continuous quality compliance over materials and products.
  • Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
  • Investigates and addresses customer quality complaints.
  • Builds and enhances cross-functional relationships, services and information flow between the organization, the customer, and other key stakeholders related to the product quality.
  • Identifies and leads product and process quality improvement.
  • Lead problem solving efforts and leveraging potential as determinate through data analysis, customer feedback, continual improvement and other quality-related programs.

Your Skills & Strengths:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • 7+ years in similar position. / Automotive industry experience (Tier 1 is a plus).
  • Experienced in quality systems: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.
  • Customer portal experience and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects with multiple departments to successful completion.
  • Ability to influence and develop strong working relationships with colleagues, management, customers, vendors, suppliers.
  • IATF16949/ISO 9001 requirements.
