The Quality Assurance (QA) coordinator plays a crucial role in leading the quality department and managing quality risks within the manufacturing sectors to ensure that the final product meets all specified requirements.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Background in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Quality experience
  • 3 to 4 years of managerial experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to oversee projects, deliver status reports, and monitor progress alongside management teams.
  • Familiarity with assembly processes
  • Proficient in utilizing quality tools and conducting failure analysis
  • Experience in auditing processes and systems
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal Spanish and English
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft and SAP software
  • Knowledge of tools such as PFMEA, DOE, PPAP, GD&T
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Driven, motivated, and strategic mindset
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking
  • Effective team leadership and collaborative skills
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally
  • Experience in project management and handling stressful situations
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the quality department in continually improving assembly line processes and incoming editions
  • Make critical decisions regarding product launches
  • Identify and address complex problems
  • Supervise the problem resolution process's implementation and execution
  • Act as the key link between end customers and the assembly line
  • Collaborate with internal customers to resolve assembly line issues and oversee corrective actions
  • Provide technical support to the assembly line and ensure effective communication with quality actors
  • Work closely with other BRP sites to standardize best practices
  • Participate in deviation permits and engineering change approvals
  • Monitor plant quality performance regularly
