The Ops Accounting Intermed Anlyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing and processing expense reports to ensure compliance with the Citigroup Expense Management policy. Ensure processing within procedural guidelines and timelines standards. Reviews and processes invoices and purchase orders to ensure compliance with policy and ensure processing occurs within procedural guidelines and timeliness standards. Works to with fraud prevention and departments for problem resolution. Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. Independently deals with variable accounting issues with potentially broader business impact. Oversees the accounting activity related to a specific operation of the business and the maintenance of the general ledger. Integrates in-depth analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools/methodologies as they pertain to the area. May provide guidance to lower level team members. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

2-5 years relevant experience in an accounting role. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.

Education:

Bachelors degree Responsabilidades Experto en apoyar y guiar a los usuarios finales de Oracle procurement solution, así como gestionar los requerimientos de los usuarios, proveedores y aprobadores de la plataforma iProcurement y sus catálogos. Atender y contribuir a la solución de problemas relacionados con el proceso de cuentas por pagar y las Órdenes de Compra. Apoyo y punto de contacto en el proceso de facturación electrónica (XML PO, Facturación, Flatfiles, Billin, etc). Parte fundamental en la capacitación de usuarios y resolución de problemas del sistema. Diseñar y dirigir la implementación de mejoras y nuevos desarrollos del sistema; planeación de proyectos, pruebas UAT e implementación. Asegurar la entrega de optimizaciones del sistema, catálogos y otras iniciativas encaminadas a crear eficiencia y mejoras en la experiencia del usuario final como sigue: Gestionar las estrategias e implementación de los catálogos de compra en plena colaboración con el Gerente de cuentas por pagar, Gerente de contratación de proveedores (Sourcing) y "Buying Desk Procurement Operations". Gestionar y participar en el análisis y ejecución de la racionalización de proveedores, estandarización de términos de pago y automatización del proceso de órdenes de compra. Requisitos

Amplia experiencia técnica en el sistema ORACLE ERP. Experiencia en la gestión de la transmisión de archivos XML. Entendimiento del funcionamiento del certificado SSL, así como de los comandos MS Suite Conocimientos de los procesos de compras y cuentas por pagar. Así como de la creación y transmisión de órdenes de compra. De 1 a 3 años de experiencia en ambientes o empresas multinacionales. Inglés deseable
