The Job
To provide legal services to WBD. Based in Mexico, the attorney will manage all legal and regulatory matters relating to WBD business in Mexico.
The Daily - Major Activities
- Drafting and review of contracts related to marketing agreements, advertising sales agreements, distribution agreements among others
- Stay updated and support compliance with and applicable laws.
- Resolve legal queries of a diverse nature and provide legal advice related to all aspects of television broadcasting/distribution/programming/advertising, legal and regulatory matters.
- Draft all barter and sponsorships agreements with Mexican entities
- Perform commercial and administrative tasks.
The Essentials
- Law degree graduates with solid experience in the media and entertainment industry, media law, and related regulations.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts related to media and entertainment.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of corporate legal experience at either a law firm or corporate inhouse department.
- Proactive, creative, businessminded approach to anticipating and solving legal and commercial issues
- Superb drafting and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and people skills
- Advanced English level.
