**Purpose of the Position**:
Develop and implement strategies to ensure that N-GBU Engie Mexico's operations (Distribution and Transportation from development and constructions to sales, customer care and operations and maintenance) are carried out in a safe manner, in harmony with the environment and free of physical security incidents in Mexico.

Empower all employees in all N-GBU Engie Mexico to foster a H&S culture and coordinate with H&S from other GBUs the implementation of Global Programs

**Responsabilities and Job Functions**:

- **Establishes and directs the strategy in Occupational Health and Safety to achieve the objectives defined by the organization of N-GBU, T&G and GEMS in Mexico, in line with the Group's H&S policies.**
- **Directs the planning and the road map of the policies, procedures, instructions, and activity guides in H&S as well as the Emergency Response Systems on a multi-year basis.**
- **Contribute and support the implementation of the Integrated Security Management Systems in N-GBUs Engie Mexico entities, including also contractors and providers. Follow up and analyze the data, KPIs, implementation of actions plans, etc, to provide the result, effectiveness, and improvements needed of this system.**
- **Ensure legal compliance and represent the organization before authorities such as ASEA, SEMARNAT, STPS, Civil Protection and any state or municipal authority in matters related with H&S.**
- **Be advisor of all managers and supervisor in terms of H&S to promote and create a mature culture of H&S in the organization, proposing activities, training, improvement in the organization and tools, etc.**
- **Leading the network of H&S Supervisors and encourages COSESAS to comply with the legal requirements of the Engie work centers related to N-GBU Mexico and GEMS in terms of H&S.**
- **Control, establish and manage the budget and resources of the area of the H&S, providing and/or giving advice to the Transport, Distribution and/or Regional Directors to prepare their budgets, supervising the implementation.**
- **Guides entities in compliance with internal and external H&S audits, making the follow up of the action plans to be implemented.**
- **Directs the annual education and training program on H&S in coordination with the Technical Department, such as courses, talks and workshops of N-GBU Engie Mexico.**
- **Directs and empowers the entities to carry out the investigation of accidents, incidents, HiPos, and physical security events, compliance with corrective actions.**
- **Coordinate all activities, planning, training, drills, related to H&S in the Corporate Offices de Engie Mexico (Torre Esmeralda II building)**
- **Coordinate with the Environment and Security Managers, to implement actions when the supervisors in the field are managing H&S and one or both activities under his/her responsibility.**
- **Coordinate with Human Resources, to define and implement strategies and actions plans related to physiological health, mental health, and others topics related to the health and the safety of all employees.**
- **Coordinate with the H&S Managers of Renewables (R-GBU) and Flexible Generation and Retail Global Business Units (FG&R-GBU) in Mexico, to provide to the Country Manager the global view and results in H&S for Engie Mexico as a whole, contributing to have a homogenous H&S culture along the country.**
- **Coordinate with the Sustainability Manager to integrate the actions, programs and results in the sustainability strategy of Engie Mexico**

**Ocupational Profile**:
Required educational background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a Master's degree preferable in disciplines related to H&S

Knowledge of the operation of natural gas distribution and/or transportation systems, root cause analyses investigation methodologies. risk assessment tools.
