Stress Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Stress Engineer to join one of the biggest aerospace companies in Mexicali. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.

What You Will Do:

  • Conducts stress, fracture and fatigue structural analysis of aerospace components.
  • Performs structural analysis nature using conventional hand analysis and/ computer analysis.
  • Develops and documents structural test efforts to assess structural integrity of metallic and nonmetallic aerospace products.
  • Works to design parameters to access the structural integrity of metallic and nonmetallic aerospace component parts.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.
  • Uses and validates Continuous Improvement tools to solve problems.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent related degree.
  • 35 years of experience doing structural analysis (Finite Element Analysis).
  • Experience in aircraft structural components static.
  • Understanding of load paths and various aspects of airframe design using metals and composites.
  • Strong technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.
  • Expresses problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervision.
  • Uses and validates SW and C tools to solve problems. Awareness of assigned tasks and activities on product metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work closely as a team with other international locations.
