WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:

• Reports to the Plant Manager of Reynosa Thermal.

• Responsible for the successful introductions of new products.This includes participation in all the new product introduction teams, assistance in the startup of the plant, training, documentation, inspection criteria, SAP setup, etc.

• Recommend the purchase of new equipment

• Provide leadership to the Quality Department at Reynosa Thermal.This includes maintenance of the ISO9000, ATEX and other certifications.

• Responsible for raw material inspection and resolution, RMA's, product inspections, and final product disposition.

• Responsible for the training program within Reynosa Thermal and the supervision of the Trainer.

• Actively participate in improvement activities via Lean as well as root cause analysis of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and/or cost abnormalities

• Develop and maintain a highly motivated workforce through training and employee development programs in each of the assigned areas of responsibility to elevate the skill level of employees, as well as provide flexibility in a multi-functional environment

• Assures a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions.

• Lead and run all quality resources to ensure the achievement of all committed Key performance Indices (KPI's)
YOU HAVE:

• A working knowledge and aptitude for mechanical and electrical products and systems

• Four years of college or technical school resulting in a B.S. degree.

• Experience in Quality, Engineering, and New Products is required

• Experience in sourcing and purchasing is preferred.

• Proficiency in Electronics and troubleshooting is a prerequisite for this position

• Intimate knowledge of AutoCal is a plus.

• Candidates are also required to have good overall computer skills and to work well in a fast paced, task orientated environment where deadline pressures and coordination of multiple assignments are common

• Candidate must be proficient in creating and working with spreadsheets and prior working knowledge of SAP or similar platform is preferred

• Candidates must possess excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills as this position involves extensive contact and coordination of activities with internal and external resources. Must be organized, detail orientated and self-motivated
