About the Job

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated optical inspection solutions using e.g. Keyence and Cognex vision systems.
  • Utilize image processing libraries, including OpenCV and Falcon, to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate AOI systems into production lines and workflows.
  • Conduct test and validation process to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of AOI systems.
  • Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of inspection errors and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vision systems technology to continuously improve inspection processes.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AOI solutions using e.g. Keyence and Cognex vision systems.
  • Indepth knowledge of image processing techniques and libraries, such as OpenCV and Falcon.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with validation procedures and failure analysis in AOI systems.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within crossfunctional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Training/Certification in AOI system.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automated optical inspection.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
