As an Assistant Operations Manager (IT & Operations), you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of materials, services, and equipment across the organization, ensuring optimal efficiency and profitability. Your bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish will be essential for establishing links with suppliers and stakeholders across borders, particularly in Mexico. Your deep knowledge of Mexican business and customs protocols will help foster strong relationships with suppliers and ensure smooth operational workflows.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Assistant Operations Manager to join our fast-paced and innovative team in Guadalajara. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of IT, operations, and product development, making a significant impact on our organization's success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving operational excellence, a strong foundation in data management, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Excellence:

- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and best practices.

- Proactively monitor procurement activities, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic insights to the Operations Manager.

- Conduct in-depth data analysis and prepare comprehensive procurement reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Operations Management Support:

- Serve as a trusted partner to the Operations Manager, providing exceptional support in daily operations and strategic initiatives.

- Proactively organize and prioritize tasks and projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.

- Leverage data-driven insights and industry best practices to deliver actionable recommendations that drive operational excellence.

Product Development Collaboration:

- Act as a strategic liaison between the sales team and the product/developers team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

- Prioritize and manage requests, ensuring clear communication and alignment between teams to achieve shared goals.

- Oversee enterprise trials, working closely with the engineering team to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction.

Data Management & IT Support:

- Demonstrate expertise in SQL, performing complex tasks such as data retrieval from Google BigQuery, table creation, and data manipulation.

- Proficiently manage, maintain, and analyze data using Google Sheets, leveraging advanced functions to derive valuable insights.

- Provide exceptional IT support to internal teams, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to optimize productivity.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate fluently and persuasively in both Spanish and English, adapting communication style to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams, proactively addressing concerns and facilitating seamless operations.

- Prepare and deliver compelling, data-driven reports and presentations to management, clearly communicating key insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and their operation.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.

- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

- Demonstrated work ethic, positive attitude, and a passion for driving results.

- Willingness to travel primarily within Mexico, with a focus on trips between Guadalajara and Mexico City.
