The position is part of our growing Consumer Finance organization and is based out of our Mexico City office. Primary responsibilities include:
·P&L ownership - analysis of the financial outputs, connecting them with the underlying input drivers and translating them into insights to inform and execute business decisions.
·Partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts, accounting, inventory and operations teams to provide analytics, strategic guidance and decision support to senior executives on the key 2021 initiatives and beyond
·Tracking business performance against goals and leading goal reviews with senior management; developing and implementing policies and programs to maintain and improve profitability.
·Leading financial reviews, performing analysis on weekly, monthly and quarterly results. Finding opportunities to improve and simplify these processes.
·Project ownership, working with business partners to deliver projects such as new product launches, innovations, and customer analysis that help us better serve Amazon's customers.
·Collaborating with Latin American Finance teams on region-wide finance-specific deliverables and projects.

· Prior knowledge of SQL/ETL and COGNOS would be beneficial, and a willingness to learn these is essential

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
