About the Role
As UberEats continues to grow and expand our reach beyond food delivery, our Merchants CRM team is looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals with a clear passion (and resourcefulness) to join us in our mission to become the delivery platform of choice.
For this role in particular, we're looking for an experienced audience targeting manager to join the UberEats Merchant CRM deployment team to help us launch innovative, world-class campaigns and continue our efforts to attract, engage, and grow our Merchant base on UberEats.
You will be responsible for assembling and managing all the necessary customer data we will need in order to launch accurate and personalized marketing campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Work with key stakeholders across the business to make sure the CRM/marketing team has the data it needs to execute essential campaigns.
- Interface with marketing managers to understand their complex data needs.
- Execute audience targeting logic (list pulls) for campaigns supporting acquisition and customer programs using SQL on Hive, Presto).
- Author and maintain logic for audience targeting attributes and automated list pulls in various languages such as SQL, Hive QL and Spark.
- Own and maintain a single source of truth for all customer data available to be used for marketing campaigns.
- Use of inhouse tools to automate list pulls and other processes.
- Evaluate and prioritize project requests and enhance intake processes.
- Partner with engineering, marketing, analytics, and data science teams to continuously improve our understanding of customer data.
- Design systemfirst processes to scale targeting resources, including defining and leading implementation of enhancements to our internal targeting tools.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience targeting audiences for marketing use cases, both adhoc and automated; including data integration with CRM or other marketing automation platforms
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- Knowledge of using terminal
- Knowledge of version control systems (git)
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, resolve them effectively and efficiently
- Ability to collaborate with various teams and meet fast deadlines
- Critical thinker with creative solutions to resolve challenges and meet business requirements
- Passion to learn and grow; taking initiative to succeed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apache Hive and Presto
- Experience with Basic command of Unix commands / shell scripting
- Fluency in various database languages such as SQL, Hive QL, Spark and Python
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
