What does your job look like?

Product Manager (Technical) is a strategic and business- oriented role focused on design, build, and roll-out products that customer will love and products that deliver the company's vision and strategy.

The successful execution of this role will be achieved through balancing business knowledge, technical competencies, relationships, developing and executing processes, and delivering results.

Your main responsibilities will be to

• Act like the CEO of the product as they are responsible for the strategy, roadmap, feature definition, marketing, forecasting and revenues for their products.
• Perform technical production management functions including defining specs and business/technical cross-division coordination.
• Product managers must represent customer needs to the development organization and to ensure that the product requirements deliver on customer requirements.
• Product managers must collaborate with all the functions in the company that are involved in building a product and taking it to market.
• Bridges gaps across functions including engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing and customer support.
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
• Work closely with Tech-leads, dev team and architects to contribute to the development of design artifacts and Quality Assurance test plans.
• Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing with key stakeholders including APIs and technical documentation acceptance testing.
• Own and develop clear and concise product collateral artifacts to document the platform and to inform and educate internal stakeholders and clients of its desired behavior. It includes Product Guides, Integration Guides, and Release notes.

What you need to succeed on this rol

• 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge: Know your product, your customers, your market and your competition better than anyone else.
• Ownership: Take responsibility for the product and all issues related to it.
• Persuasive: Get things done by being convincing rather than commanding.
• Be an engineer: Be curious about how the product is built as if you were an engineer.
• Positive: Transmit optimism to the team and to the rest of the company about your product.
• Be a curator: Curate the best ideas from your team and celebrate the work of others on the team.
• Leadership: Champion your team's ideas all the way up the management ladder.

Desirable Qualifications

• Prefer work experience in the payments space in some of the following areas: mobile payments, tokenization, card network payments, non-card network payments, reporting and reconciliation, payment security and cloud services.
• Experience working with APIs products.
• Experience working with tracking and process management tools, including JIRA.
• Using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
• Facilitating large scale planning, development, and user acceptance testing efforts.
• Working within an Agile environment.
• Working with business and engineering teams to write business requirement documents, document technical requirements, and make presentation to executives.
• Developing roadmaps, writing user stories, grooming product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced environment.
