Job Description

The role of the Order Processing Specialist entails accurately handling daily purchasing activities. This position involves managing account activations and various requests. Serving as the primary internal contact for customers, engaging directly or through the sales team to finalize deals and fulfill administrative tasks in alignment with the objectives of the Global Sales Team. The responsibilities also include overseeing regular and spontaneous projects, consolidating information from multiple company departments.

Key Responsibilities and Outputs

  • Process external customer purchase orders, signed Order Forms, or similar commitments
  • Set up new and existing customer accounts on multiple platforms for various products
  • Handle internal customer requests
  • Efficiently address customer issues or concerns related to purchases/account setups
  • Respond to customer email inquiries and requests
  • Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Offer direct support to sales, resellers/partners, finance, and product support teams globally
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Turnitin LLC's products, sales promotions, and order procedures
  • Execute additional administrative duties and projects as delegated

Qualifications

Essential

  • Proficiency in using computers
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Effective prioritization, multitasking skills, and team player attitude

Preferred

  • Experience of 2-3 years (preferable) in order processing, customer service, or related fields
  • Prior exposure to SalesForce and Netsuite
  • University degree
