Job Introduction:
This position is responsible to ensure and maintain a high level of support corresponding to the team leads in all activities of the department and ensure active participation in the daily business of his/her functional responsibilities.
Need an analytical, well-educated, knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated team-player with strong IT background, work ethic and integrity that will become a key part of IT-SAP Team to implement and provide adequate support for MM/PP/WM/QM/PM modules to SAP users across locations of North and South America region.
Suggest and implement improvements for MM/PP/WM/QM/PM processes using SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA. Need to provide training to users if needed or requested. This role uses business knowledge, IT background, SAP concepts and good communication skills.Major Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and gaps not met by the existing systems / implementations
- Identify feasible solutions within SAP framework and estimate effort needed to meet those business requirements and gaps
- Implement solutions using SAP configuration, master data setup or code and support rollout projects
- Provide daytoday SAP enduser support
- Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge
- Complete other duties as required by the Manager from time to time
- Effectively uses teamwork to positively contribute to a high morale/highperformance team culture, consulting attitude and strong personal integrity
- He/she ensures global support
- Provide support in the creation of query reports/programs, barcode solutions, educational sessions, general consulting and project managers if requested.
- Assist in systemrelated issues of manufacturing information processes/procedures
- Assist in the coordination and collaboration of external consultants (Customer & Suppliers) as well as internal team members
- Consult where requested for research and implementation assistance in regards to new modules, features or interfaced/integrated new products
- Assist in generating task procedures for I.T administration
- Time tracking and documentation according to Magna Global IT standards
- Support rollout projects
- Ensures billing of his/her projects and changes
- Design practical, creative, conceptual technical solutions for business requirements balancing appropriate technology, cost and implementation timeline
Skills and Competencies:
- Able to configure and support in PP/QM modules in SAP
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
- Previous experience in SAP implementation and development of SAP configurations is preferred
- Able to collaborate with users, and have a strong desire to excel
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal, good interpersonal skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
- Monitor and test all SAP MM/PP/WM/SD/PS/QM/PM processes to insure solutions are not impacted by other module when upgrades and support patches get implemented or if the process changes in any other module
- Review and work up development requests & specs for ABAP programmers to develop customized functionality or reports to meet business requirements
- Experience in project management with technical competence in SAP
- Project and Time Management Skills
- Analytical and flexible approaches in the projects and coordination of available resources
- High external and internal service orientation, initiative, creativity, diligence, accuracy and social skills
- Excellent performance and organizational skills
Knowledge, Education and Work Experience:
- Completion college diploma/certificate
- Involved in designing and configuring SAP finance solution on SAP S/4HANA platforms
- Experience in Automotive Industry is desirable
Work Environment:
Regular travel 10-25% of the time.
