Customer Experience Associate - Social Media

Since 2020, Lyft Mexico has been expanding its workforce. In May 2022, we proudly inaugurated our office in the bustling city of Mexico. Our team has now grown to nearly 200 members spanning various business domains, and we are eager to further expand by ensuring the best working environment for all team members.

As a Customer Experience Associate specializing in social media, you will play a crucial role as the voice of Lyft across all social platforms. You will be responsible for addressing queries and resolving issues for passengers and drivers promptly. By embodying the Lyft brand, you will contribute to our community's strength by offering reliable, seamless, and trustworthy support.

Responsibilities:
  • Be the main liaison for Lyft on social media and digital channels, showcasing exceptional judgment as the face of the company
  • Proactively tackle challenges and build rapport with our valued passengers and drivers
  • Handle and resolve community issues independently, escalating when required
  • Deliver tailored, positive, and effortless experiences for the Lyft community
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and other teams to maintain a unified support approach
  • Cover occasional after-hours on-call shifts
  • Advocate for the Lyft community
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service or sales is a must
  • Preferred 1+ years of experience in social media or communications
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and keen attention to detail
  • High emotional intelligence and a background in interpersonal interactions
  • Demonstrated startup mentality and strong work ethic
  • Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ownership mentality and commitment to seeing tasks through
  • Willingness to work evening shifts with 1-2 weekend days included

This role will be based in our office following a hybrid model, if a Lyft Location is accessible in the Mexico City region — Hybrid Team Members are required to be in the office 3 days a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles offer the flexibility to work remotely for up to 4 weeks annually.
