El gerente sénior de informes financieros es un puesto de nivel gerencial sénior responsable de lograr resultados a través de la administración de un equipo o departamento en un esfuerzo por proporcionar análisis e informes normativos en coordinación con el equipo de Finanzas.
Además, el gerente sénior de informes financieros desarrolla procedimientos de informe y control para preparar con precisión la información necesaria para los informes y análisis financieros.
El objetivo general de este puesto es garantizar que la documentación financiera del negocio o departamento se prepare y entregue a tiempo y con precisión.
Responsabilidades:
Impulsar el análisis y la presentación de informes a distintos grupos (reguladores locales, la Comisión de Bolsa de Valores [Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC], el gobierno federal, la Oficina del Contralor de la Moneda [Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, OCC], etc.) en función de requisitos como los Principios de Contabilidad Generalmente Aceptados (Generally Accepted Accounting Standards, GAAP) de los EE.
UU., los organismos reguladores de los EE. UU. y los informes exigidos por ley.Supervisar el cierre de libros y libros secundarios, incluido el registro de entradas de ajuste obligatorias adecuadas y la consolidación de las finanzas al final de cada período contable.
Liderar y dirigir un equipo de profesionales y administrar áreas disciplinarias profesionales complejas, críticas o grandes. Comunicarse con los colegas dentro de la firma y a nivel externo, incluidas organizaciones profesionales y reguladores.Proporcionar asesoramiento a clientes internos sobre las repercusiones de las tendencias comerciales, los problemas, los cambios en el entorno operativo y la estrategia de la firma o unidad de negocios.
Entregar un rango completo de servicios a uno o más negocios o regiones geográficas.Utilizar el conocimiento integral de múltiples áreas dentro de Finanzas y cómo interactúan a fin de alcanzar los objetivos del Departamento de Finanzas.
Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, demostrando una consideración particular por la reputación de la empresa y protegiendo a Citigroup, sus clientes y activos, al impulsar el cumplimiento de las leyes, las reglas y los reglamentos correspondientes, acatando la política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido en relación con el comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales y escalando, administrando e informando los problemas de control con transparencia, así como supervisar de manera efectiva la actividad de otros y crear responsabilidad con aquellas personas que no mantienen estos estándares.
Calificaciones:
Entre 6 y 10 años de experiencia relevante. Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y administrar plazos de entrega o cambios imprevistos en las expectativas o los requisitos. Habilidad para trabajar con las contrapartes de distintas áreas de la organización. Habilidad para gestionar flujos de trabajo en paralelo y hacer varias tareas al mismo tiempo. Habilidades comprobadas de organización y gestión del tiempo. Habilidades demostradas de resolución de problemas y toma de decisiones. Demuestra de manera constante habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal clara y concisa.
Educación:
Título universitario/de licenciatura o experiencia equivalente. Preferencia de maestría. La descripción de este puesto proporciona una revisión de alto nivel de los tipos de trabajos realizados. Se pueden asignar otras obligaciones laborales según sea necesario.
