You are the person everyone wants on their team, known for your reliability, attention to detail, and proactive mindset. Numbers don’t intimidate you—you’re excited to crunch data, solve problems, and optimize processes to make our agency even better.WHAT YOU’LL DOWe’re looking for an accounting assistant to become familiar with our accounting and financial reporting processes so that they can assist in:Accounts payable inputExpense report auditing and processingNew vendor verificationExternal email communication with clients & vendorsProcessing employee expensesJournal entriesBank reconciliations and other general ledger month end closure activitiesAnalyzing information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying informationAssist in tracking, recording and auditing sales taxREQUIREMENTSHere's your background and what you've done before joining The Outloud Group team:2+ years of accounting experience, including working with U.S.-based companies and handling transactions in U.S. dollarsAssociate’s degree or equivalent experienceProficient in QuickBooks (2+ years), ideally with QuickBooks Online certificationStrong understanding of U.S. accounting principles, GAAP, and tax regulationsExperience processing payments, reconciling accounts, and managing financial records in a U.S. business environmentHighly organized and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesStrong integrity, professionalism, and work ethicExperience communicating with external clients in writingProficient in MS Excel, including data analysis and reportingAble to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team///The Outloud Group is a full-service influencer marketing agency that creates & executes strategic campaigns to deliver measurable results.
