Your role

WHAT YOU’LL DOWe’re looking for an accounting assistant to become familiar with our accounting and financial reporting processes so that they can assist in:Accounts payable inputExpense report auditing and processingNew vendor verificationExternal email communication with clients & vendorsProcessing employee expensesJournal entriesBank reconciliations and other general ledger month end closure activitiesAnalyzing information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying informationAssist in tracking, recording and auditing sales taxREQUIREMENTSHere's your background and what you've done before joining The Outloud Group team:2+ years of accounting experience, including working with U.
S.-based companies and handling transactions in U. S. dollarsAssociate’s degree or equivalent experienceProficient in QuickBooks (2+ years), ideally with QuickBooks Online certificationStrong understanding of U. S. accounting principles, GAAP, and tax regulationsExperience processing payments, reconciling accounts, and managing financial records in a U.
