What you will do:Under the general direction of the Senior Finance Manager of Financial Operations, and close direction of Corporate Function Business Partners, our Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analysis, financial planning, and customer service job duties related to the Corporate Function Finance support.Must be able to effectively and professionally work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The primary duties of this role will be to support the financial and analytical processes for Corporate departments at Johnson Controls.How you will do it (Primary Responsibilities):Assist with the preparation and analysis of the annual operating budgets and capital budgets for Corporate functionsPrepare monthly financial statements for the areas of responsibilityAnalysis of monthly financial results to determine trendsAssist cost center owners to ensure adherence to plan/forecastHelp budget owners understand their results and assist with finance/accounting questionsPartner with RTR team on month end journal entriesAssist in dispute resolution for intercompany charges for Corporate functionsPreparation of presentations for management staffCreation of new processes and improvements as required in constantly changing environmentPerform other duties as assignedWhat we look for (Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceHighly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with ability to adapt to changing environmentStrong analytical skills and research capabilitiesSelf-driven and organized; able to balance short and long-term deliverablesMinimum 3 years of accounting/analysis experience in a large multi-national companyBasic knowledge and understanding of intercompany accounting conceptsTeam player with excellent communication skills requiredCommitment to excellent customer serviceExcellent Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word skills requiredSAP/OneStream experience preferredExhibits professional demeanor and emotional maturity
