Position Overview:

Engage in research using English and Dutch, German, or Nordic Languages, utilizing various online open sources and subscription sources for investigative and intelligence cases for clients. Reporting directly to an Operations Project Manager in the Investigative Analysis Group (IAG).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Conduct research through online open sources, proprietary databases, subscription sources, and search tools for investigative and intelligence cases. Includes Open Source Investigations (OSI) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations, along with intelligence reports and other assigned tasks.
  • Analyze information for various report types such as regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and specific analysis tasks.
  • Compile, fact-check, and edit reports into written documents using templates as directed by Operations supervisors.
  • Support with final review and uploads of due diligence reports. Conduct limited telephone inquiries like reference checks to aid investigations or operations.
  • Mentor new and existing Analysts and Editors, providing feedback on research, analysis, and reports.
  • Ensure quality assurance by adhering to defined standards for all due diligence reports and offering guidance to maintain quality.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) research.
  • Background in journalism, legal services, and research.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch/German or Nordic Languages.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree required.
