Position Overview:

Engage in research in English and Mandarin, utilizing various online open sources and subscription sources to support investigative and intelligence projects for clients. This role will directly report to an Operations Project Manager in the Investigative Analysis Group (IAG).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Conduct research using various online sources, proprietary databases, and search tools for investigative and intelligence projects, including Open Source Investigations (OSI) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations.
  • Analyze information for different types of reports such as regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and specialized analysis.
  • Compile, fact-check, and edit reports using templates as directed by Operations supervisors.
  • Assist in final review and report uploads. Conduct telephone inquiries as needed.
  • Act as a mentor to Analysts and Editors, providing feedback and guidance on their work.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and provide feedback to team members to maintain these standards.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in researching Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money-Laundering (AML).
  • Background in journalism, legal services, and research.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree required.
  • 0-3 years of experience necessary.
