Position Summary

As a supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of cooks and workers, ensuring that food is presented attractively and garnished appropriately. You will monitor food preparation quantities, communicate menu specials, and maintain kitchen supplies. Additionally, you will assist in various kitchen tasks and support the management team in activities like hiring, training, and scheduling employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
  • Determine food presentation and create decorative displays
  • Monitor food quantity and preparation
  • Inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items
  • Assist in providing necessary items to cooks
  • Manage kitchen supplies and maintain food quality
  • Assist in recruitment and training processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
  • Work Experience: 4 to 6 years
  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • License or Certification: Not required
