About the location:

The role of the Learning & Development Manager
The Learning & Development Manager is an essential member of the East Cape's Leadership team that contribute s to ensuring that we c reate luxury with genuine heart for our guests and that we Inspire the world to lead with genuine heart .
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Baja California's East Cape. As the L&D Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering a growth mindset and providing the necessary learning resources to empower our employees to reach their full potential.

Essential Functions
- Creates a compelling picture of how the learning function can improve the performance of the hotel and execute the strategy and hotel goals .
- Develops long rage learning, development, and human performance strategies to implement the vision.
- Responsible for an indirect reporting relationship with the Designated Trainers, ensuring their roles and responsibilities are supported, developed, and adhered to in standards achievement. Trains new Designated Trainers when required .
- Embarks new managers to the company - ensures they are given the knowledge and skills to successfully thrive in Four Seasons .
- Trains and coaches' leaders on how to deliver training , perform standard testing , conduct management development and blended learning programs to their t eams .
- Is a champion for Core and Culture Standards achievement through training, testing, campaigns, and initiatives.
- I t is involved in ensuring the necessary training and learning is conducted in departments on a consistent basis.
- Works with hotel management to identify performance gaps through the analysis of Glitch , LQA and Medallia Reports .
- Is able to facilitate learning programs for managers and employees when required.
- Consults with managers to determine solutions to needs and implement change initiatives
- Creates and promotes connection and wellbeing activities that enhance employee engagement and experience .
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality , Business Administration or Human Resource s
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in learning and development including in a manage ment position
- Understanding and experience with adult learning
- Prior experience in a luxury ho spitality highly required
- Knowledge of Workday is preferred
- Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
- Experience in employee engagement, employer branding, onboarding will be advantageous
- Ability to read and speak and write English and Spanish
- Understand and familiar with quality standards and service standards of the hotel
- Reasonable cost analysis and cost management skills
- Highest level of integrity and transparency
- Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors' delivery man
- Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
- Compensation: Highly competitive salaries as well as an annual incentive plan for managerial roles at Department Head level
- Transport: Shuttle service from San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo to the resort
- Uniforms: Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms
