We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Informatica IICS
What you'll do:
1. Strong skills and robust experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Informatica Power Center and SQL
2. Azure SQL Data Warehouse experience
3. Data migration to Microsoft Azure; prior experience and expertise with this platform will be advantageous.
4. Design, develop and maintain Informatica cloud data integration processes using the appropriate data load technique, including Push-Down Optimization for performance optimization
5. Analyzes the impact of changes on existing ETL/ELT processes and systems. Assesses the compatibility with goals in all areas. Analyzes cost effectiveness and feasibility
6. Debug and tune data integration processes; analyze data warehouse architecture, normalized/de-normalized, star schemas and snowflakes, slowly changing dimensions, dimensional surrogate key handling, exception data processing, troubleshoot and recommend improvements and alternate methodologies
7. Work closely with business analyst to understand the application workflow and determine clarifications
8. Requirement analysis for Data Integration, Design ETL documents and develop jobs as per the requirement
9. Design the incremental and historical load strategy
10. Ensure adherence to client standard policies and quality compliance enterprise metadata definition
11. Participate in Framework design, building solution, issue clarification, unit test cases preparation and testing
12. Update JIRA at the user story level every day and drive it to completion
13. Resolve all the technical impediments like requirement dependency, data dependency environments, UAT QA support
14. Informatica Admin Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata are a definite plus
15. Working knowledge on scheduling tools like AutoSys & Control-M is preferred
16. Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL and hands on of Unix commands and Shell Scripting
17. Knowledge of SQL tuning including the ability to write stored procedures triggers functions
18. Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures theories principles and practices
19. Knowledge on data model to develop Dimension and Fact mappings jobs
20. Participate in client calls and prepare the clarification list to seek clarifications and ready to work in offshore-onsite model
21. Prepare the list of requirements and seek review inputs from the key stakeholders
22. Create impact analysis document for simple change to understand the impact on the existing functionality as required
Preferred experience:
- Advanced English level
- Strong skills and robust experience IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud services)
- Experience in Azure SQL Data warehouse
Nice to have
- Experience with data migration to Microsoft Azure
