Core Responsibilities:

Assisting Customers:

  • Provide support and assistance to internal and external customers through processes within the customer service area.
  • Serve as a communication channel between the Customer Service function and other operational teams at Ingredion (across different countries).

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Assist with analysis and reporting activities as needed for the customer service operation.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and metrics.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Support the implementation of initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Proactively identify problems and contribute to organizational initiatives for improvement.

Problem Solving and Teamwork:

  • Participate in group problem-solving and teamwork activities.
  • Collaborate with team members on specific projects or tasks.

Operational Process Analysis:

  • Utilize the internship to critically analyze operational processes and recommend actions for improvement.

Qualified candidates will have:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, etc.). Students in their final years of study are also eligible.
  • An affinity for technology and process improvement is desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps.

  • Service Orientation: A customer-centric mindset and willingness to assist clients effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team goals.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to embrace change and learn new processes.

  • Technology Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in technology and its role in process improvement.

Language Proficiency:

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. This will facilitate communication with international clients and colleagues.
