Nexaminds is actively looking for a Performance Engineer to join forces with our valued client, a top HCM technology provider trusted by HR, payroll, and benefits professionals nationwide. With over 2500 employees, they're dedicated to revolutionizing the employee experience. Together, we streamline processes, empower HR heroes, and drive impactful change across organizations.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Performance Engineer
  • Proven experience in performance testing using Load Runner, JMeter, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, performance bottlenecks, and SQL query optimization.
  • Proficiency in analyzing performance data and identifying root causes of issues.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to report findings and issues clearly to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job duties

  • Write and prepare detailed technical performance test plans.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven test automation scripts for performance and load testing.
  • Use tools like Load Runner, JMeter, or similar to design and execute load and performance tests for web applications, web services, and SQL Server databases.
  • Design and execute daily load Build Verification Tests (BVTs) as well as larger, system-level performance tests.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze network traffic, latency issues, inefficient code, and SQL query performance.
  • Prepare test data and ensure readiness for execution.
  • Analyze data gathered from performance tests and generate actionable insights.
  • Report findings, log defects, and track their resolution.
  • Communicate any issues that may impact the testing schedule, budget, or product quality to the test lead in a timely manner.
