Job Summary:

The Sales Lead Jr. is a key member of the store management team, responsible for creating a selling culture, enhancing the customer experience, and achieving store sales goals. In the absence of a member of management, the Sales Lead Jr. is authorized to open and close the store, process cash refunds, and perform other essential duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Perform the responsibilities of the Leader on Duty (LOD) to lead a Customer First culture. Communicate clear expectations and hold the store associates and themselves accountable to achieving all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  2. Business Development: Partner with the Store Management team to execute the store business plan and drive KPI results. Establish and assign individual goals to sales and stock associates; monitor performance and provide real-time coaching to support them in achieving the assigned goals.
  3. Talent Management: Lead role in training, developing, and coaching the associate team to create a Customer First culture. Motivate associates by providing feedback and recognition for behaviors that drive positive results.
  4. Visual and Operational Execution: Maintain company brand standards and execute strategic, brand-appropriate merchandising product moves to maximize presentation and drive sales. Ensure consistent and effective shipment processing and flow to the floor are executed while maintaining stockroom SOP.

Authority and Qualifications:

In the absence of a member of management, the Sales Lead Jr. is authorized to perform various duties, including opening and closing the store, processing cash refunds, and receiving merchandise shipments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience, a high school education or equivalent, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
