Job Description



The Security Firmware Test Content Developer leads the development, implementation, and optimization of test content focused on security features for NVMe SSDs. Operating within the realm of storage technologies, this role demands expertise in Python programming, Linux environments, test case design and planning, and a deep understanding of NVMe and TCG security specifications, among others. A successful candidate will excel in a cross-functional engineering environment, applying modern software development methodologies, secure coding practices, and strong debugging skills to ensure the integrity and security of Solidigm solid-state drives.

The Senior Software Developer leads the development, implementation, and optimization of test content focused on security features for NVMe SSDs. Operating within the realm of storage technologies, this role demands expertise in Python programming, Linux environments, test case design and planning, and a deep understanding of NVMe and TCG security specifications, among others. A successful candidate will excel in a cross-functional engineering environment, applying modern software development methodologies, secure coding practices, and strong debugging skills to ensure the integrity and security of Solidigm solid-state drives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of test content for NVMe SSDs, specifically security features.
  • Design, implement, and execute test plans for comprehensive security validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications and seamlessly integrate security test content.
  • Apply strong debugging skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues within the test content effectively.
  • Stay up to date about industry standards, specifically NVMe and TCG security specifications, to incorporate them into testing strategies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience as Python Developer
  • Experience developing Python code following OOP principles
  • Demonstrable experience using a distributed version control system such as Github, Gitlab, etc.
  • Communication skills
  • Advanced English level
  • Experience using Unix based OS such as RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
