Responsibilities The Chemical Engineer is responsible for the formulation and chemistry of polyurethanes/polymers. Design and optimization of foam production processes, resulting in waste reduction. Implement rigorous quality control protocols to ensure consistency of the final product (density, compression strength, etc.). Development and control of foam formulations. Assistance in solving quality issues with final products. Provide technical support for statistical process control and assist in waste reduction to generate cost savings. Your profile and competencies to succeed Minimum education level Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Professional Experience At least 3 years of experience, preferably in the auto industry. Skills And Competencies Knowledge of polymer chemistry and polyurethane foam processes. Experience in process optimization and quality control systems. Familiarity with statistical process control tools and methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Technical expertise in chemical formulation and process design. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement techniques. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
