Global Trade Solutions SpecialistThis role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation.We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company's regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity.Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting.Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.The Global Trade organization is dedicated to trade facilitation and compliance.We support all HP businesses and functional organizations worldwide in meeting their obligations regarding import and export laws and regulations.The Program Management Office drives high-impact business plan development that supports corporate compliance strategies and enables the execution of Global Trade strategies - i.e. Efficiency initiatives, Risk management/mitigation, Process and Systems Capabilities Initiatives.The Program Management Office is responsible for the planning, project leadership and oversight of the Global Trade's Plan of Action, ensuring Global Trade not only makes the right strategic, financial and operational choices on where to invest, but also delivering on those commitments.The Program Management Office partners and supports the program and project management for all Global Trade functions and businesses, collaborating with IT and Compliance partners such as Customs Operations, to plan, execute and measure business, and systems.The PMO GTS Project Specialist will be an IC position reporting directly to a member of the Global Trade Leadership Team and will:- Deliver Project Solutions Management services for GTS and WWCLASS including blueprint, configuration, and access management.- Lead the GTS and WWCLASS asset support, working closely with IT/SI to fix production issues, work with GTS Super Users to drive improvements and partner with HPE IT to enhance our GT assets through the various IT funnels.- Deliver Project Lead services on assigned BU driven and RCRB projects, ensuring continued efficient/effective compliance tools which facilitate operations and compliance, driving among various phases: the socialization of GT requirements, assisting BU and/or IT PM in defining Scoping/Planning data, managing the delivery of comprehensive GT requirements, leading GT SME/Support participation where required, developing MoC documentation etc.- Co-lead the POA Plan of Action for the organization, ensuring timely data entries from project leads across Global Trade as well as data accuracy, tool reporting and enhancements.This includes the project sizing funneled through FPM (Finance Portfolio Management) and the partnership with the GT Leadership team to assign project resources.**About you**:- First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree- Typically 4-5 years of SAP GTS experience- Typically 5 years of experience in a supply chain function.- This position requires mastery of advanced SAP and GTS acumen, as well as project management skills.- Relevant experience in management, strategy, planning, supply chain and operations, Customs (import/Export), Export Controls (including technology transfer) or related functional area.- Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.- Strong project management skills to lead cross-functional teams; recognized as Subject Matter Expert.- Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives.- Superior business acumen with possible IT or IT PM background- Very good understanding of national and international trade requirements to align with business objectives- Strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver) and HPE's overall SC strategy- Very strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.- Developed leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and managementmexico**We offer**:- A competitive salary and extensive social benefits- Diverse and dynamic work environment- Work-life balance and support for career development- An amazing life inside the elementWant to know more about it?Then let's stay connectedHPE is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Veterans/Disabled/LGBT and Affirmative Action employer.We are committed to diversity and building a team t
