Trade Compliance Specialist

**As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will**:
Coordination of Import Operations, Exports, Virtual Operations, and material movement. Execution of administrative and fiscal processes based on company policies and procedures, and by national and USA laws.

**Requirements**:
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- Education: Bachelor´s degree in International Business
- Experience: 3 - 5 years in similar roles
- Excel and English proficiency Knowledge of NAFTA Software

Skills: Tech savvy, ensures accountability, action-oriented, communicates effectively, manages complexity, customer focus, plans and aligns, instills trust, and optimizes work processes.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Tariff classification of materials and finished products.
- International Treaties: Requirement, review, and processing of certificates of origin and affidavits in the system. Analysis of Finished Products for Certification of Origin.
- Issuance of export certificates of origin
- Review and maintenance of Traffic and Compliance Procedures and Instructions.
- Internal audit program and its execution regarding customs matters.
- Verification and compliance with C-TPAT obligations. Verification and, where appropriate, annual validation or modification of the Profile.
- Validate documents for registration of clients or suppliers (the veracity of documents) Coordinate and facilitate day-to-day foreign trade compliance in your department(s) or functional group.
