Provides Merit with recommendations and decisions which uphold Merit's standards in providing quality product to the customer.3. Manages Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians in performing daily manufacturing engineering line support duties.4. Manages new product development projects from the Research & Development Department which are transferred to Manufacturing, as well as major process improvement and automation projects.5. Works with various departments and is responsive to their needs.6. Develops capital plans and budgets for the Manufacturing Engineering Department.7. Performs supervisory assignments for the department such as interviewing, hiring, performance appraisal, training, employee discipline, termination, and work review/scheduling.8.
