**EL Customs and Inventory Leader - TMC**:**Take your next career step at ABB with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future.At ABB, we have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity and generations.Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:Develop and implement strategy for Customs & Inventory operations México ´s Plants and ensure the materials and inventory management through warehouse, purchasing, engineering personnel.Ensure the track control of BOMs, since engineering, scheduling, purchasing, and integration of the information in ZOE (Inventory Control System).Identify Customs Inventory and develop actionable plans and procedures to mitigate deviations.Ensure the balance Inventory between ZOE (IMMEX) vs SAP Inventory (Receipt, adjustments, deviations, etc.).Evaluate internal controls and drive implementation of recommended improvement plans.Inventory audits related to specific transactions and processes (At SAP & Operation Plants controls).**This position reports to**:Global Logistics Manager**Your responsibilities**:- Lead Material and Inventory Management through warehouse and shipping personnel training.- Implement processes and reports to ensure correct system transactions.- Create procedures of engineering changes, ship shorts and waivers.- Establish periodic meetings with Materials and Customs teams to evaluate the transactions accuracy.- Track and report plant ´s performance and develop an improvement plan operation.- Design an assessment of every plant communicating benefits and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.- Defect resolution; including corrective action implementation.- Assist in identifying process and procedure improvements for the Customs processes (IMMEX-BOM, SAP); Identify Customs risk areas and contribute to corrective action implementation.- Provide advice on Customs IMMEX Inventory regulations, and other government agency requirements affecting imports and exports materials in México (BOMs & Avoiding Inventory Discrepancy Risk).- Responsible for maintaining the two-way communication with the internal Customs team, engineering & material team.- Support various metrics and monitoring programs related to assigned responsibilities.- Assist in providing training on Customs processes and risk mitigation for any internal or external audit.- Support responses to audits and other requests from customs-IMMEX- Inventory administration.- Lead & manage execution of the ABB risk assessment and process monitoring strategy, goals and objectives within a specific unit of business.**Your background**:- Bachelor's Degree in Customs & Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain or related to International Trade.- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Customs, Purchasing, and Inventory.- Demonstrated Compliance/ Continuous Improvement mindset and ability to use knowledge, experience and instinct to make accurate and timely decisions.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Demonstrated ability to think analytically, critically and work as a team.- Advanced English level.**More about us**:
