Lead VAVE activities from idea creation, through feasibility, approval and implementation.- Generate new VAVE ideas to fill budget tasks through leading workshops at GKN sites, customers and suppliers with manufacturing, purchasing and customer teams.Lead workshop follow-up activities to a decision to follow-up or close ideas.- Move ideas from the "funnel" into the VIP iDash system and through feasibility.- Lead the monitoring and reporting of VAVE projects in execution for progress.Resolve conflicts ("road blocks") between functional areas as related to VAVE project execution and implementation with emphasis on top 10 projects.Escalate issues to CMC for resolution as needed.- Monitor progress toward sites VAVE savings budgets.- Lead VAVE project (as change leader role) from idea to implementation as needed.- Lead the Regional Change Management Committee (CMC) meetings.- Champion the VAVE culture and process, in close cooperation with Engineering, Purchasing, Commercial, Quality, Programme Mangement and Operations.- Participate and support the VAVE process at the global level.Participate and contribute to the continuous improvement of the GKN VAVE process**Requirements**:Mechanical Engineering Degree10 years Driveline experience10+ years total engineering experience with at least 5 years in a leading roleProven project management skillsAbility to influence employees at all levels across all functions.Cultural sensitivityExperience working with and influencing employees from different cultures and countries.Expert in relevant technologiesSkilled in handling customers and OEMsStrong communication skillsCollaborationCustomer Relationship Management (CRM)Financial Acumen Project ManagementFluent in English
