Unlock Your Career Potential with a Highly Experienced US IT Recruiter Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior SAP CPI Integration Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integration solutions within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) suite, with a primary focus on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of hands‑on experience, capable of serving as a technical lead, setting integration standards, and mentoring junior team members. This role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and high‑performance data exchange across our enterprise landscape. Key Responsibilities Lead the full lifecycle of integration projects, from requirements gathering and blueprinting to deployment and post‑go‑live support. Define and enforce integration governance, standards, and best practices across the SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh). Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, and Business Stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and iFlow designs. Serve as the CPI subject matter expert for integration with core SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and external cloud applications (e.g., SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce). Development & Implementation (40%) Design, develop, and deploy complex integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). Expertise in various CPI adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, Process Direct, SuccessFactors, etc.) and connectivity patterns (Cloud‑to‑Cloud, Cloud‑to‑On‑Premise via Cloud Connector). Implement advanced security and authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, SAML, Client Certificates, PGP encryption) to ensure secure data transfer. Operations & Quality Assurance (20%) Perform rigorous unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide Level 3 expertise for complex integration issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative solutions. Configure and optimize CPI monitoring and alerting mechanisms. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all iFlows, interface specifications, and operational runbooks. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive experience in SAP Integration technologies (SAP CPI/HCI, PI, or PO). Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated, hands‑on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/SAP Integration Suite. Proven experience leading at least two full‑cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects with CPI as the primary integration platform. Strong knowledge of API‑led connectivity and the utilization of SAP API Management within the BTP suite. Solid understanding of standard business processes across major SAP functional areas (e.g., Finance, HR, Supply Chain). Preferred Skills & Certifications (Nice to Have) Experience with other SAP BTP services such as SAP Event Mesh for event‑driven architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for CPI (e.g., using transport tools like TMS or CTS+). Experience with non‑SAP middleware systems (e.g., Dell Boomi, Informatica, MuleSoft). Basic understanding of ABAP for collaborating with back‑end SAP developers (e.g., debugging, BAPI/RFC exposure).
