Me Welding Engineer

Job Description:Activities:- Production support & process development.- Steel and aluminum welding experience- Welder Qualification process management.- Mentorship of weld technicians.- Startup operations for new product lines.- Assuring facility complies with AWP Welding Standards- Developing and maintaining manufacturing methods, standards, and practices.- Defining and implementing weld cell layouts.- Periodic audits of weld and fabrication processes, implementing corrective actions where gaps are identified.- Support plant wide projects requiring engineering support- Support the division welding council, identifying and promoting new and emerging technologies that will result in lower operating costs and improved quality.- Equipment maintenance, repair and replacements strategy and process.Requirements:- B.S.
