**Objective**

Lead and manage the splicing processes of all Battery Trays programs. The Welding Sr. Engineer will be responsible for ensure compliance with the performance KPIs of the hot bonding processes.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Comply with the welding KPI's, manage and control all the welding processes of the EMC 2 plant
- Modify and/or adjust welding parameters to meet with the requirements of our client
- Maintain weld FTT at a minimum of 90%
- Reduce internal SCRAP derived from welding processes.
- Improve the performance of welding consumables.
- Maintain an optimal welding health chart according to the requirements of our clients.
- Analyze C&E reports and trigger necessary adjustments based on their experience in conjunction with welding technicians
- Support in the training and training of plant welders
- Train and train welding technicians
- Control the performance of welding processes through process audits
- Lead the CQI-15 audit with our clients.
- Support FMEA and PC creation and update.

**Position Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree Mechanical, mechatronic or electrical engineer
- Advanced English
- Experience in assembly processes, preferably bodywork, BIW
- Welding and/or manufacturing specialist
- Knowledge of GMAW, GTAW and RSW welding processes
- Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive welding validation

- Experience in welding and assembly processes in the automotive industry
- Experience in adjustment of GMAW & GTAW welding parameters
- GD&T experience.
