Senior Consultant Mergers

The M&A Senior Consultant plays a critical role in supporting buy-side, sell-side, divestiture, and Joint Venture Transactions. The role requires strong analytical thinking, rigorous financial assessment, and the ability to translate complex business issues into actionable insights. The Senior Consultant works directly with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality advice across the full deal lifecycle, from strategy and due diligence to integration and value realization. What you will work on Perform in-depth financial analysis to evaluate transaction opportunities. Build and refine valuation models and deal‑specific financial scenarios. Support due diligence workstreams by analyzing financial, operational, and market indicators. Prepare clear, concise client deliverables (reports, decks, models). Conduct industry and competitive research to support deal hypotheses. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (strategy, tax, legal, integration). Identify risks and value‑creation opportunities for clients. Support project management activities and help coordinate workstreams. What you will bring 3–5 years of experience in M&A, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Strategy Consulting. Strong background in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis of financial statements. Experience participating in due diligence processes (financial, commercial, operational) and contributing to client deliverables. Exposure to cross‑functional projects or post‑merger integration is a plus. Advanced financial modeling (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution). Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analytics tools is an advantage. Ability to interpret complex financial statements under Mexico Accounting Rules, IFRS and US GAAP. Understanding of end‑to‑end M&A lifecycle: strategy, due diligence, valuation, negotiation support, integration planning. Familiarity with industry and market research methodologies.
