Manager Of Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES- Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules that accurately include all required dates, activities, and milestones.- Set clear objectives and performance targets for the program management team.- Ensure that all production programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards.- Coordinate with various departments (Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc.) to align resources and timelines with production goals.- Act as the primary point of contact for program-specific queries or escalations.- Provide updates on program status, challenges, and milestones to leadership and stakeholders.Analyze data to identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions for improvement.- Manage and resolve any project risks, delays, or bottlenecks.- Oversee the execution of multiple production programs from planning to completion for HVAC assembly.- Perform progress schedule updates to include comprehensive reporting and narratives.- Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.- Perform critical path analyses, identify schedule-related problems, and recommend corrective actions.- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Program Managers overseeing multiple projects from initiation through completion.- Oversee the allocation of resources, both human and material, to ensure the optimal delivery of HVAC programs.- Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation plans to avoid delays or budget overruns.- Provide guidance and support to ensure the team adheres to best practices, company standards, and project timelines- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the program management team.- Monitor progress and intervene when necessary to resolve issues that may affect the schedule or budget.- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors.- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and align with production schedules.- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of production programs.- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.- Communicate program progress and results to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.- Partner with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components.- Ensure regular and transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and adjustments.QUALIFICATIONS- Experience supervising a direct team.- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production management, project management, or program management, ideally in HVAC manufacturing or assembly environments.- Strong experience managing teams and leading complex production programs.- Proven track record of successfully managing production schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams.- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.MBA or advanced degree preferred.- A master's degree may be preferred.- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish for communication with diverse teams, customers, and stakeholders.- Strong knowledge of HVAC assembly processes, manufacturing operations, and industry standards.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex production problems.- Strong understanding of quality management systems and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is a plus.- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is advantageous.
